Dear SJCS Members, Relatives and Guests
SJCS Zanzibar - Goa Reunion 2008 Registration - (Who can attend)
Last week, whilst in Toronto Canada attending the Tanzanite 25th Anniversary celebrations, a few folks I met at the dinner dance were enquiring whether they could attend SJCS Reunion Goa 2008, confirming they were not members nor from Zanzibar.
As it so happens, the folks I met were from Mombasa, and likewise similar requests have come from outsiders from Nairobi.
To clarify this issue, SJCS Zanzibar Goa Committee had agreed that we would entertain SJCS members bringing their friends and relatives as guests, mainly because we knew that many SJCS Members often visit Goa with their close friends, many members have relatives and friends who own properties in Goa which they share, and as Goa Venues are large enough to cater for large numbers, and as we had planned several functions, we felt there was no need to have any restrictions taking into account SJCS members would have sufficient time to meet up with their classmates during the course of their stay.
To conclude, St. Joseph’s Convent School ex-students are entitled to invite their close friends as their guests. This would mean they would have to register their friends under their names, and REGISTRATION has to be actioned in advance.
We have fortunately met our target for all the EVENTS we had to guarantee but have place for close friends with priority first to members.
All outsiders (folks not SJCS Members), we WELCOME you but you have to be introduced by a SJCS member.
REGRET NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE GATE.
We do not want SJCS members or their guests to expect admission at the gate, as it would be a great burden on committee members to handle cash and to make last minute arrangements, particularly for the dinner/dance and table placing. An item to be discussed by committee members at next meeting.
Hope this clarifies this issue.
Many thanks
Please see enclosed registration forms for relevant countries.
